I put there some usefull information on Seiji that didn't fit anywhere else. |
||||
- Seiji won a race car at the age of 16. |
||||
- His grand father teach him flute so he can control himself. |
||||
- Seiji seems to possess a six sens which warn him when someone his watching him. |
||||
- His name (Seiji) mean conquering warrior. |
||||

||||
Seiji had a very strict upbriging, his family being very much into tradition. All his life Seiji has been raised to be the futur of his family, as he is the only son. Seiji have to support his family and save the world. He has always been the obedient son, giving unselfishly of himself because he loves his family and wants them to be proud of him. He has sacrificed what he may have wanted to do with his life to do what he was told to do. But Seiji cannot really belong in Japan, he is too different (he is a konketsu). Even his own family looks down on him for his strange look. He hides behind masks, behind the illusion of aloofness and confidence but luckily, he can be more of who he really is with the other troopers. They help him a lot, giving him the chance to let his true self shine because he tries so hard to be what everyone else expects of him that he can't be who he really is. And it's really hard for him because he doesn't wants praise or admiration, he just wants to be love for who he is. |

- Interesting fact : Seiji received his yoroi after his demonstrated that he understood the concepts of 'rei'. In the summer of his second year of junior high, Seiji was challenged at his dojo by another famous kendo practitioner, Kazamatsuri Shingo. Seiji had won that year's spring kendo tournament for Northeast Japan but Shingo hadn't attented. He wanted to try now. Seiji's grandfather forced him into the fight. During the fight, when Shingo was losing, he threw something into Seiji's eye. However, only Seiji's left eye was affected, his right covered by his hair. Angrily, he knocked off Shingo's face protector (huge breach of etiquette). But no one else noticed what Shingo did. Seiji's grandfather, furious, sent Seiji down to the basement for punishment. It wasn't till later when Shingo woke up did everyone learn the truth. By drawing shame to himself, Seiji 'saved' Shingo because if Shingo's deception had become known he would have been forever banned from Kendo. While in the basement, Seiji found Korin. |

French voice |

Here you can find some interesting stuff on the french voice of Seiji. It's Gilles Laurent who was already making the voice of Rick Hunter in Robotech and Jayce who was playing Seiji in the french version of the ronin warriors. But Gilles Laurent has also wrote two 'scénarii' with Laurent Boutonnat for Mylène Farmer (the clips of Sans logique and Pourvu qu'elles soient douces). He has also made the voice of Damien, the devil child (with Liam Nelson as Damien in the last movie) and a lot of Vendredi 13 as well. |
