Flight to Hell

Doctors are the same as lawyers;
the only difference is that lawyers merely rob
you, whereas doctors rob you and kill you too.

"ACHOO!"

"Cye, hon, you really don't sound too hot. You better lie down, I think your catching something." Cye shook his head in disagreement.

"I am not sick! I never get sick." Cye protested as a small smile curled on Sage's lips. Sage suddenly grabbed the un-expecting Cye and swooped him up into his arms.

"Hey!" Cye shouted as Sage carried him to the bedroom.

"Cye, your sick. Face it. I’m the closest thing in this house to a doctor, and I say your sick."

"You’re a healer, not a doctor. There’s a difference. And since I'M the most doctor-like one, I say that I'm fine." Cye tried to sit up but Sage kept a hand firmly pressed against the others chest.

"Hey! Meanie!" Cye said as another smile crossed Sage's face.

"Cye, sick, bed, stay."

"But who will take care of the household? Mia's gone, and the guys need to be fed, and taken care of, and then there's the laundry, and...." Sage pressed a finger gently to Cye's lips.

"Cye, I'll do it." Cye suddenly burst out laughing.

"You? Love, no offense, but...." Sage's glare silenced him. Sage rarely glared at Cye, unless it was to say "no more on the subject", So Cye decided to be quiet.

"Cye, you know I can cook, and I've seen you do the laundry a million times, and the guys aren't that bad.... don't worry, I'll be fine. And I'll start my work by getting you some soup and a drink." Cye nodded faintly as Sage left the room.

"Oh love, what have you gotten yourself into? And with the little amount of sleep you get? It will be a wonder if you survive." Cye then burst into a fit of coughing.

"And if this continues, it'll be a wonder if I survive."

* * * * *

Kento walked into the kitchen at the smell of dinner, what he found though, was an amazing surprise, to say the least.

"Sage? You're the one who's cooking?" Sage turned to him and shrugged.

"Cye's sick, so I told him I'd do everything for him." Kento looked at the food oddly.

"But, this is you. And the food... It looks, edible."

"I'm not Rowen, I know how to cook thank you very much." Sage said as he pulled out the plates and placed food on them all. He then proceeded to set the table.

"Hey guys! Foods ready!" with those words, Rowen, Kento, and Yuli, who had wanted to stay with the guys while Mia was away, came tromping down the stairs.

"Hey, where's Cye?" Rowen asked as Sage looked at him.

"Cye's not feeling well. He's upstairs resting, or at least I hope he is." It was Ryo's turn to look at him.

"If Cye's sick, then who cooked the food?" sage rolled his eyes in response.

"I did you idiot." Both boys and even Yuli turned to look at him in shock.

"YOU?" Sage shrugged.

"I'm not a complete fool. I know how to cook." The guys looked doubtfully at the food.

"Fine, if you don't trust my cooking, you can waste your own money buying food. I have a sick and hungry lover up stairs that needs some attention, so I have to go." Sage grabbed a plate that he covered with food and poured a glass of the brewing tea that he had prepared.

"Guys, just try to eat. I don't care what, just please do it. Cye would kill me if I let you go without a meal." Sage then proceeded upstairs and opened the door to Cye's room.

"Hey." He said softly to the resting Brit. Cye opened his eyes slowly and smiled.

"Hello love." Cye then burst into a fit of coughing, as Sage set down the meal and helped his lover sit up.

"Cye, do you want me to go get you some medicine?" Sage asked as Cye shook his head.

"You don't need to help me. I am fully capable of doing such things by myself." Cye tried to get up, but another round of coughs sent him back down. Sage slowly crawled onto the bed and placed one hand behind Cye's head. He used the other to place the plate on his lap. He then piled the rice in the chopsticks, and proceeded to feed Cye.

"Sage, I can feed myself...." sage shook his head.

"Shh. I want to do this." Cye was silent after that, as Sage fed him the rest of the food.

"Sage, that was actually quite delicious." Sage smiled faintly.

"Well, I learned from watching the master." Cye grinned before sneezing.

"You sure your OK? Maybe we should take you to the doctor. In case there’s something really wrong with you." Cye glared at him.

"Sage, I would never suggest that you go to a doctor, no matter how sick you are, and don't think that your going to get away with sending me to the doctor." Sage nodded, everyone had promised not to take him to the doctor ever again, since even though it was two years later, the damn scientist's tortures still plagued his dreams nearly every night.

"Sorry to bring that up love." Cye muttered softly, as sage shrugged.

"I'm 18, I'm a big boy, silly dreams shouldn't bother me, and things from the past shouldn't haunt me...."

"Sage, the things that are happening to you aren't silly if they've lasted this long. They should have gone away a long time ago. You really need to stop blaming yourself." Cye said the same thing over and over again to Sage, yet the blonde would either flat out not answer, or he would ever so carefully change the subject. This time was no exception.

"Cye, are you sure that there is nothing that you need?" Cye nodded as Sage pressed his hand to Cye's forehead.

"Sage, no..." But Sage ignored Cye's words as he cast a resting spell on his lover. Sage stood up, and then removed the empty dishes from the dresser.

"Rest well, koi." He said softly as he left the room.

* * * * *

Sage was shocked when he arrived downstairs to see that all the food was gone, and four happy, and quite full boys were sitting at the table.

"What? You actually ate the food?" Rowen grinned.

"Sure did. And it was damn good. No Cye, but still..." Sage smiled faintly as he picked up the dishes and began to run the water. Ryo watched in utter amazement at the bearer of Halo. Of all people, Sage was the last he expected to play the role of "Susie Homemaker".

"Guys, I'm gonna go watch some TV." Ryo stated as he walked away towards his room. That wasn’t really what he was planning to do, he instead planned to write a letter to the one he cared about the most. He sat at his desk with a crisp sheet of paper.

Dear Mia, his handwriting was far from the best. It wasn’t Sage's elegant or Cye's precise writing, it was basically scrawl.

How are you doing in the US? Poor Cye's gone sick, and Sage's taken over. It's fun to watch Sage take over and clean up after us for Cye. And Yuli's decided to spend the night with us. I'm really starting to feel sorry for Sage. Poor guy. He still isn't sleeping right at night. Are you having fun with your cousin? I prefer not to go back to America after what happened to Sage in New York. Bad experience. And also... Luna. Well, onto other subjects, have you gotten Kento all the candy he's asked for? He'll kill you if you don’t get it. Well, as much as I'd like to continue talking, I better go.

Sincerely,

Ryo

Ryo really hated his handwriting. It was really illegible. He sighed as he folded it up and placed it into an envelope. He pressed a stamp to the letter, and then carried it outside to be sent.

Breath. Can't move. So drowsy. Can't think strait. Pain. Electricity. Bolts. Shocks. Pain. Again. Again. Again.... Laughter. HIS laughter. Ringing over and over again in my ears. More pain. Cye. What I want. Cye. Help. I shake my head. I don't want him to come. Then he may be hurt as well. Struggle. Try to regain conscious. Do I really want to? Back to pain. It's so calm, relaxing here. And then again pain strikes my weak body. Body spasms. Too much to bear. Have to. Can't give up. Finally my eyes opened, and are filled with death. Death. Once I hade embraced it, now I refused it. Cye, the true reason I fought. Cye, Want so badly. Eyes close. Pain. And then the cycle repeats. No food. No water. 2 1/2 days. Helpless. Killing so many, and not wanting too. Give in. But then this would be a lost cause. And finally, one more surge of pain. Scream. Once more I do that. Weak. That is what I am. Fail. That is what I did. Death. I'm already dead....

* * * * *

Sage jerked up in his sleep. "Not another dream. No more." He pleaded to himself, praying that he didn't wake his sleeping koi. He turned over and noticed that Cye was asleep. He sighed in relief as he stood up and made his way to the kitchen. He walked into the room and the first thing he saw was Rowen, asleep at the table, his head propped up on a book. Sage sighed and gently grabbed his sleeping friend into his arms, and carried him upstairs. He barely made it to the bed when his arms gave out, and he dropped Rowen to the bed. Thankfully a Hurricane couldn't wake Rowen, so he was safe.

/Why am I so weak? / He asked himself silently.

/Because you cant sleep. You are a failure. / Sage's eyes widened at the laughing that followed.

/Shikaisen! / He thought to himself as he fainted to the floor in shock.

* * * * *

"Sage, Sage, wake up!" Sage opened his eyes, and saw Cye looking at him.

"Cye?" Sage mumbled to the auburn haired man in front of him.

"Cye? You should be resting. You're sick and..." Sage sat up slightly and glanced around the room.

"Why is everyone in our room?" Sage asked as Rowen stepped up.

"Actually, we were wondering what you were doing in mine and Kento's room. When Kento woke up, you were passed out on the floor. And when Cye found out, the demons of hell couldn't stop him from coming in here." Sage gasped when he remembered the voice that had plagued his mind the night before. Shikaisen. Sage didn't know how, but the bastard was still alive.

/Yes, I lived. Did I ever die? / Sage felt like hyperventilating.

/You know I can get you, but I think I'll stick where it hurts. The one you love most. /

"Cye!" He gasped, wide-eyed.

"Love? What's the matter?" Cye said, worry evident in his voice. Sage blushed faintly. He couldn't let them know what was going on. Cye was sick, and everyone was fed up with talk about Shikaisen.

"Umm... you shouldn’t be here! You should be in bed." Sage said as he sat up, and slipped back when a wave of dizziness struck.

"Love, you are almost as bad as I am." Cye said as he helped Sage up.

"Am not." Sage said as He stood up.

"You're sick. I'm just dizzy." Cye nodded his head in agreement.

"That is true." Cye said as Sage smiled.

"What time is it?" Sage asked as Ryo glanced at his watch.

"10:00." Ryo stated as Sage turned to the rest, stifling a yawn.

"I better go start breakfast." He said softly as he began to leave the room.

"Rowen, make sure that Cye gets back to bed for me, please?" Rowen nodded as sage left.

"Well Brit, you heard the man, move!" Cye glanced at him before scampering out, Rowen in tow.

* * * * *

Sage paced back and forth in the kitchen while cooking.

"I can't believe he's back... Oh god..."

"Sage, what are you talking about?" Sage swiftly turned to see Ryo in the doorway.

"Ryo, what are you doing here?" Sage asked nervously.

"Umm, this is the kitchen, and I am thirsty." Ryo poured himself a glass of juice, then sat at the table.

"OK Sage, are you going to tell me what’s going on, or do I have to guess why you've begun the freaky habit of talking to yourself." Sage didn't even smile.

"Sit down flame boy and drink your little juice." Sage pointed out as he began cooking again. Ryo did as he was told, but kept a watchful eye on the blonde. Something had Sage spooked, and acting weird, and he was going to find out what it was before his friend got himself seriously hurt.

"Sage, if you don't tell, I'll get Cye to weasel it out of you." Sage's eyes widened.

"Don't say anything to Cye, Ryo. You do and I will personally kill you." Ryo's eyes widened. What the heck had Sage so out of it that he'd lose his calmness and all? Something bizarre was going on in the swordsman’s head, and Ryo wasn't sure if he really wanted to know what it was.

"Sage, what is the matter with you? What happened?" Ryo asked softly as Sage ignored him. Sage was silent for a while, and Ryo noticed that the food was lightly brown. Any longer in the pan, it would burn.

"Sage? I think the food is done." Sage didn't reply. Ryo looked at him oddly and stood up, walking over to the blonde.

"Seiji?" Ryo asked. He rarely used Sage's real name, unless he was dead serious. He sat his hand on Sage's shoulder and turned the blonde around to face him, and realized that Sage's face was stained with tears.

"Are you OK?" Sage said nothing but covered his face and turned away.

"You have to tell me what happened. This is eating you alive!" Sage sighed and took the food off of the stove, before it was totally ruined.

"Sage, you can't ignore me." Ryo pointed out, his hand still resting on sage's shoulder.

"Yes I can." Sage mumbled back as Ryo sighed.

"Sage, talk. I don't care if I have to pin you to the ground and force you to talk, because I will." Sage didn't doubt Ryo for a minute. It wouldn't be the first time Ryo had done it. That was the way Ryo had found out about his dreams when they had first started two years ago. Ryo didn't know that they were still going on though. Only Cye knew that.

"Ryo, I don't want to talk about it OK? Is it a crime to have problems and not want to talk about them?" Sage responded, a cold edge in his tone of voice.

"Well, It is if it has you acting like this. And with Cye out of commission at the present moment, I'm making it my duty to watch out for your well being."

"Well, then you’ve been doing a pretty pathetic job for the past two years." Ryo looked at him, shocked that Sage, normally calm and quiet, would say something like that to him.

"What do you mean Sage?" sage rolled his tear filled eyes at the bearer of wildfire.

"Aren't we non-observant. Ryo, I haven’t had decent sleep for the past two years. I still have nightmares. And to make matters worse, I'm hearing his damn voice in my head." Ryo looked at sage with wide eyes. How could he have been so stupid as to no have realized it. Sage had flat out refused medication a year ago when he had the flu, but Ryo had just thought that the blonde didn't like medicine with things that he couldn't pronounce in it. And He thought that Sage was so tired because he trained early in the morning. Boy, was he off.

"I'm sorry sage. I didn't know." Ryo said softly.

"Yeah, well no one did. Sorry for getting mad at you. Only Cye knows." Ryo nodded, until he realized something.

"Sage, you've been hearing Shikaisen in your head? What has he been saying?" Sage turned away again.

"That, you really don't need to know. Want food, it's burned on the stove. I'm going to go train." Sage swiftly walked away, without a backwards glance to Ryo.

* * * * *

"Say what? My poor Sage is hearing voices in his head, and of all people, some guy you killed? Well, what has he been saying? And where is Sage? Bring me my Sage!" Cye was very demanding when he was ill, and when he was ill and sage was wacked out, you really didn't want to be in the room.

"I'm sorry Cye! He wouldn't tell me, and then he said that he was going to go train outside." Cye sighed inwardly to himself.

"This is not good. Rowen, you go get sage because we all are aware that he listens to you, Ryo, go get me a cup of tea. And a sandwich." Ryo smiled faintly, but went off to do what he had been told. Rowen, on the other hand, hesitated to leave.

"Kento!" He yelled as Kento's head popped into the door.

"Yeah Ro?"

"Stay here with Cye. I don't want him getting any bright ideas while we're gone, such as finding Sage on his own." Kento nodded as Rowen left the room. It didn't take long for the azure boy to find the blonde, who was swiping the air with his sword.

"Sage, Cye wants to see you. He wants to know about the.... voices you’ve been hearing." Sage immediately dropped his sword, and turned to Rowen with wide eyes.

"He knows?" Sage whispered with fear evident in his voice.

"Ryo told him. He's really worried." Sage let himself collapse to his knees. If Cye knew, he couldn't go back. He was going to kill Ryo for telling. Cye would make him say everything, and he didn't want to tell Cye what Shikaisen was saying to him.

"I.... I can't tell him. How could Ryo? I told him not to tell, but he didn't listen. Rowen, just, go away. I can't go back." Rowen knelt down beside the blonde, and gently set his hand on sage's back.

"Sage, you have to. Cye needs you. He's sick, worried, and you need him too. Don't forget that." Sage took a deep breath.

"Rowen, just give me some time alone. Tell Cye I love him and everything, but I don't want to talk about it just yet. And Rowen, whatever you do, never, Ever let him out of your site. Promise me that?" Rowen nodded faintly to his comrade, and began to slowly walk away, leaving sage alone. Cye would be mad, but he knew sage better then he knew himself, and he knew the swordsman needed to be alone right now.

* * * * *

"What! You saw my boyfriend and you didn't bring him back! Ugh! What am I going to do with you?" Rowen looked at his feet nervously.

"Cye, he wanted, and needed to be alone." Cye glared at him.

"I don't care if he "needed to be alone", You left my boyfriend out in the middle of the forest, he's sleep deprived, paranoid, and friggin' hearing bloody voices in his head, and now we don't know where he is because he "Needed some time alone!" Well that's not good enough! Ryo! Get in here!" Ryo came running into the room.

" Go to the forest and bring sage back, I don't care what he says. Blue boy didn't have the back bone to drag him back." Ryo nodded as Rowen stepped forward.

"Guys, when Sage says he needs to be alone, he really needs to be alone. Why can't you realize that?" Cye glared at him.

"I want my boyfriend back. I don't want him to lose it because of the voices." Rowen smiled.

"You just miss him, huh? I think he'll come back as long as you aren’t mad at him. He's really worried. And not about himself. For some reason he's worried about you. Don't know why, but he is." Cye nodded.

"Cye, well go get him. Kento went out to get you your medicine. Will you be OK by yourself for a bit?" Cye rolled his eyes.

"Yes! Now go get my boyfriend! And if you’re not back in the next 15 minutes, I'm going after you." Rowen smiled.

"Well be back by then. Don’t you worry." Cye grinned.

"Good, now go!" the two nodded as they left the house.

* * * * *

/Hello Kourin. You didn't listen very well did you? Leaving Suiko all alone with the boy and the cat. / Sage’s eyes widened.

/Ryo, Rowen, and Kento are gone? Shit! /

"CYE!!!!!!!" Sage leapt to his feet and bolted towards the house.

/Kourin, you can't reach him in time.... too bad. If only you trusted your armor still, then you could save him. Too bad. / Sage came into the clearing leading to the house, and dashed up the stairs.

/Shikaisen, if you touched him, I will destroy you with my bare hands. / Sage threatened as he ran into Cye's room and saw the window ajar, and no Cye to be seen.

"SHIT!!!!!!! CYE!!!" Sage screamed, tears threatening to burst through. Sage sat silently for a moment, and then let them come. He sat on the floor, and wept. Wept for Cye, wept for himself, and wept for the sake of weeping. And as the door opened, and Ryo and Rowen walked in, he continued crying, for he no longer cared.

* * * * *

Sick, in a cell, and no warm bed with a warm boyfriend in it to crawl into. Instead a mad scientist holding you captive, shoving you in a cell, and torturing your boyfriend in his mind.

"Shikaisen! Please, stop torturing Sage! He's already upset enough!" The only thing heard to Cye was the echo of laughter filling the cell. Cye pulled his knees to his body as he shivered uncontrollably. Oh god he wanted Sage right now. He'd do anything to hold the swordsman in his arms again.

"Sage." He murmured slightly, searching for the mind of his lover. Anything to show that he wasn't alone, and that sage was nearby. But all links had been blocked, and he realized then just how alone he was.

* * * * *

"Shh, Sage, calm down." Sage ignored Ryo's soothing words and continued sulking.

"Sage, sulking isn't going to bring him back, you hear? So calm down!" Ryo tried to be stern, he really did, he just wasn't very good at it. Especially when, of all people, Sage was the one crying. He had volunteered to stay with Sage, well aware of the fact Sage was going to have a very restless night. Ryo gently pulled his fellow swordsman to his side, and ran a gentle hand through the blonde locks.

"Sage, Cye wouldn't want you to be like this. He wouldn't want you so upset over him." sage shrugged. He didn't care. Cye wasn't there right now to tell him not to cry, so it was irrelevant. Ryo took Sage gently into his arms, and let the boy cry. Telling him to stop crying was pointless now.

"Sage, don't worry, we'll get him back. I promise you that." Sage nodded slightly, tears wetting Ryo's shirt. Rowen peered into the room, and felt a pang of guilt. He was Sage's best friend, he should be in Ryo's spot.

"I'm sorry about everything sage. Hey guys, is there room for one more?" The two men glanced up. Ryo smiled, but sage said nothing.

"Is that a yes or no Blondie?" Rowen said, a smile on his face. Sage shrugged slightly, placing his head on Ryo's chest again. Rowen smiled and crawled in the bed on the other side of Sage.

"Sage, you gonna be able to sleep?" Rowen asked slightly, but heeded no response from the blonde.

"Fine Sage, be that way." Rowen put his hands across his chest and turned away. Sage continued crying on Ryo, ignoring his pouting friend.

"Hey Rowen, I don't think its working." Ryo pointed out as Rowen turned back.

"Yeah, guess your right." Rowen gently set his hand on sage's back, and rubbed circles. Sage had told him once, a long time ago, that his mother used to do that to him. But when he got older, his mom was forbidden to comfort him in situations that could make him stronger. So even through broken bone, and death in the family, his mom couldn't do it. So Rowen would do it for her. Sage looked up and a faint, barely even noticeable smile appeared on his face. Rowen gingerly smiled back, and tentively continued rubbing his friends back. After what seemed like hours, but in actuality was mere minutes, Sage was fast asleep, curled up between the other two men.

"Thank goodness he's asleep. He really needs it." Rowen rolled his eyes.

"Don't press your luck Ryo, he'll be up in half an hour from nightmares, and guess who gets to comfort him?" Ryo gulped.

"Us?" Rowen grinned.

"Why, I didn't know that you were so smart Ryo my dear."

* * * * *

"Leave him alone!" Cye was sick, cold, and very, very agitated. No, agitated wasn't strong enough. Furious and on the brink of busting through the walls and strangling Shikaisen? Possibly. Shikaisen was actually planting nightmares into Sage's head, trying to break the blonde. And he was doing a damn good job. Cye watched as sage watched bodies burning and decaying everywhere. The blonde ran towards his armor, trying to find out why it had done such a thing. When the helmet turned to slowly face him, he saw his own face behind the mask, his own eyes looking back at him. Sage stumbled backwards, knocking someone who had been standing behind him to the ground. Sage turned to see Cye.

"Cye, you have to get out of here!" sage yelled as He shoved Cye away.

"Go!" Cye looked at him then began to run, at the moment sage turned to his in full armor.

"Thunder Bolt Cut!" Sage watched as He himself, as Evil as it may seem, basically destroyed the most innocent person he knew. Both sages turned to the body, one laughing, one crying. Like the two masks represented in theater, clashing with one another.

"CYE!!!!" Sage bolted over to the body of his lover, ignoring his own laughter in his ears. Cye watched in horror as the Sage that was good ran over to his dreamed up body, and cradled it in his arms.

"Oh god Cye, I love you, it's all my fault. I did this, it was me. This destruction, and death, it was all my fault. My life is pointless, my life is meaningless." Cye watched as sage pulled out his No Datchi, and began to thrust it into himself.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Cye screamed, well aware of the fact that if you die in your dreams, you die in real life. Suddenly the screen went black and Cye gasped in horror.

"Suiko, did you really think I would kill him, without seeing him ever fully wield the armor and show me the power? What a riot you are." Cye's eyes widened at the drastic change in the magicians voice. It changed from pure laughter, to what sounded almost like.... want? Cye shuddered as he felt cold tendrils form around him. He wrapped his arms around his shivering form, and realized then how cold he really was. His flannel pajamas were doing nothing to keep the chills away from his ill form.

His eyes grazed the cloth, and for once since he'd been here, he smiled. The clothes were ones Sage had gotten him nearly a year ago, when he had complained about how worn his old ones were. They were striped, three lines covering then in the same pattern repetitively. One Blue, one gold, one green. And Cye absolutely loved them so much, that he even wore them in summer, freezing Sage because the blonde wore only a shirt and his silk boxers, and Cye kept the fan directly on them the entire night. And so then, Cye cried. He cried worse then he'd ever cried. And as the room lit up, and he saw Sage crying on Ryo and Rowen, his cries turned to racking sobs of grief and despair, for him and his lover.

* * * * *

Ryo had never seen Sage this bad. The blonde was beyond tears, beyond any grief that they could imagine. He stood blankly, totally unresponsive to anything they said or did. His heart went out to the blonde, and he knew Rowen felt the same.

"Sage, come on. You need to talk to us." Sage ignored Rowen’s pleas for response. Anger filled Rowen’s blue eyes, and he suddenly stood up.

"That's it. I'm taking matters into my own hands. I'm tired of seeing my best friend go through hell and doing nothing about it. I’m tired of the fact that Cye is sick and a person with no Mercy has him, I'm going to go on Mia's computer and track him down. There has to be some connection to his yoroi that I can find...." Ryo shook his head.

"Rowen, look in the top left drawer of the dresser." Rowen did so, and was wide-eyed in surprised when he saw Cye's yoroi resting neatly on a stack of clothes.

"You mean..."

"Shikaisen didn't know where it was, and he had to leave before sage got back." Rowen sighed.

"So you mean we have no way to find him?" Ryo nodded, still cradling Sage in his arms.

"Not in New York..." A voice murmured, as Ryo and Rowen turned to look at him.

"What did you say sage?" Ryo asked gently as Rowen sat on the bed next to Sage.

"Sage, what did you say?" Rowen asked, repeating the question.

"Cye, want you..." Ryo sighed.

"Rowen, he's not going to answer." Ryo said as Rowen nodded.

"Were going to have to figure out a different way to find him. You stay here with veggie boy while I go onto the lap top and try to see if there’s any info on Shikaisen." Ryo nodded faintly as the archer left the room.

"Sage, what is it that you know that you won't tell us? You could be the key to rescuing Cye, If only you'd let us know where to look." Sage looked up at him with wide violet eyes.

"Sorry. I'm......... trying." Sage responded as his eyes faintly shut. He could almost feel Cye. How he yearned to feel that presence, the sweet Aura of his koi. But every time he came close, he was brushed and forced away by coldness. A hard, chilling coldness. And he knew what it was. Shikaisen wouldn't let him near Cye. He'd give off clues, things that Cye could sneak through, past the magician, but it wasn't enough. Sage needed more, and he wasn't strong enough in body and Mind to reach it. He needed Cye. He had to help his koi.

/Shikaisen, get your ass away from me right now! / Sage focused everything on Cye, and being with his koi, and locating his love. And then it happened. Obviously Cye was very willing to give the information, as soon as Sage forced Shikaisen at bay, he was overwhelmed with a warm, sense of comfort and love.

"Cye..." Ryo looked on at the blonde, and shook his head faintly. Sage was so out of it. Sage's eyes suddenly flew open and he gazed raggedly at Ryo.

"Churning Within a Swirl of Salt." Sage murmured as he fainted on Ryo. The mind connection had taken a lot out of him, since Cye was so weak that he could barely keep up the connection.

"Rowen! We need to talk!" Ryo yelled as Rowen ran into the room.

"Yeah Ryo?"

"I think Sage just told us where Cye was..."

* * * * *

"You fool! Now he knows where we are!" Cye felt something strike him across the cheek, and a stinging sensation coursed through his cheek. Cye’s body was shoved roughly against the wall, his back hitting dead on with the stone. He crumbled to the floor in a heap, gasping for breath.

"Now he will find you." Cye felt a foot ram into his stomach as he resisted the urge to retch.

"That was the plan." Cye muttered as a foot slammed across his face, leaving a distinguished print on the flesh that Sage's lips had been on only days before.

"There was a reason that I choose here, I'm surprised that you have yet to figure it out, Suiko." Cye looked up through swollen eyes.

"What might that be?" Shikaisen laughed.

"Oh Suiko. Poor, innocent, naive Suiko. Your bearer was always to be the most innocent." Shikaisen ran a hand down Cye’s cheek, as the boy pulled away in distaste.

"Get your hands off me, you fiendish hell spawn!" Shikaisen sighed as Cye glared at him.

"No one touches me but Sa.... korin." Shakaisen laughed at that idea. Well, Shikaisen laughed, but in the body of the scientist that had worked the computer systems

"Ahh, what I would have done to Korin if I had had the body." Cye watched in disgust, as Shikaisen liked his lips.

"My poor boyfriend." Cye muttered under his breath as Shikaisen laughed.

"I wouldn't be feeling sorry for him, I'd be feeling sorry for yourself." Cye tried to inch away, but the rigid pain in his back and the burning sensation in his stomach forbade him to do so. Shikaisen reached down to touch Cye, when a flash lit the room.

"Damn. Korin is awake. They'll be coming here soon since you just had to blab where we are." Cye suppressed a grin as the man stormed out.

"Thank you love, for waking up when you did." Cye murmured, and he let himself lay rigid on the ground, trying not to move is body any more then needed.

"Love, please hurry." Cye said aloud to the void room, tears filling his eyes.

/Gotta get Cye, gotta get Cye, gotta get Cye.... / Sage repeated over and over again, the words he spoke in his head the only thing that kept his weak body from giving out on him while swimming. He was far too low on breath, but he had to find Cye. He couldn't believe it, he felt himself go lighter, and the pounding in his head lessen, at the exact moment he found the base.

/Now to teleport in..../ Sage focused his mind, as he appeared in the hidden base-like area, and began gasping for breath.

"Hello, Korin." Sage looked up with wide-terrified eyes, as he looked up at Shikaisen.

"You've taken on a body, just like you said you would." Sage muttered as Shikaisen grinned.

"That I have. Do you like?" sage looked away.

"It ugly. Suits your personality well." Sage said as he looked up from his keeling spot on the floor. He felt a sharp kick to his midsection, and was knocked backwards onto his rear.

"For an ugly, demented scientist, you sure have a strong kick." Sage said as he continued in his struggle to breath.

"Korin, I’m just warning you. I wouldn't call on your armor if I were you. You use your attack, and the building blows up, including Suiko. Water's an excellent conductor, don’t you agree?" sage glared at him.

"You bastard." Sage growled through gritted teeth as Shikaisen laughed.

"Well, sorry Mr. Insane Bastard, but those same rules don’t apply to me. ARROW SHOCK WAVE!" Shikaisen was flung back into a wall, as Rowen ran up to Sage.

"You OK, bud?" Sage nodded as he stumbled to his feet.

"Gotta, find, Cye." Sage muttered as Rowen nodded in agreement to the blonde's words.

"Yeah, who knows what condition he'll be in." Rowen said as Sage's eyes widened.

"Opps.... maybe I shouldn’t have said that." Rowen murmured, a blush of embarrassment creeping onto his face. Sage chose that time to bolt off in search of his lover's weakening link. He skidded down a hallway, and came to an abrupt halt when he heard an anguished scream.

"Cye!" He quickly ran into the room where the noise had come from, and saw Cye, shackled mercilessly to the wall.

"Love, you're here..." Cye whispered as he noticed the new arrival.

"Why wouldn't I come?"

"So much, pain, memories..." Cye screamed out in pain from the electricity that jolted through his limbs.

"CYE!!" Sage yelled as he dashed over to the auburn haired boy.

"Korin, take one step closer and the dosage will go up a few notches." Shikaisen warned as Sage froze in place.

"Why do you even need Cye? He doesn’t even have access to an armor. If you want someone, you want me." Sage reached into his pockets and pulled out two yorois, one pulsing an intense green, the other a slowly fading blue.

"I'm the one you want, not him."

"Sage!" Cye blurted out at the blonde.

"Don't give him the armor you idiot! And I thought you were Wisdom!"

"Do you really want to see the potential of the armor? Well then, which one?" Sage purred, waiting intently for a response.

"What is it that you have up your sleeve Korin? What is it that is going on in your head?" Sage shrugged.

"If you must know, I'm mentally undressing Cye." Sage's voice held a sarcastic tone, but Cye still gasped at the remark. Cye looked at Sage in fear. Fear for himself, and fear for the blonde confronting his worst nightmare.

"Well, ugly, which will it be? Water or Light? Suiko or Korin?" Shikaisen grinned.

"I've seen the potential of Korin, if you're so willing, show me the potential of Suiko." Sage nodded slightly, his eyes going from there normally calm violet, to an intense Shade of blue that matched Ryo's.

"Armour of Torrent, Dao chi!" Sage yelled as the blue armor began to form around his body. It was amazing for Cye, to see the armor. He was always wearing it, that he never had time to look at it up close. When the ancient made them, he made them well.

"If I can’t use my armor, then I'll just have to use this one." Sage really didn't know how to use a spear, but he knew how to generate power extremely well.

"Sorry Shikaisen, but its time for you to die, once and for all." Sage focused his energy. Obviously, the armor knew who he was, and trusted him. Well, that was the armors kanji.

"SUPER WAVE SMASHER!!!!!!!!!!!" Sage screamed, as Shikaisen was flung backwards into a wall.

"Shikaisen, I must say one thing, Never choose a mortals body... we die." And with that, Sage removed the armor and dashed over to Cye, yanking the cords from the boy. He gently set the boy's body on the ground, cradling his head.

"Oh god Cye, please be OK, please be OK, please be OK..." sage repeated over and over again as he focused his energy. Calling on the wrong armor had left him weak, and he didn't think he could handle calling on Kourin at the moment. So he'd have to do it by hand.

Cye felt his body go light, and a warm sensation run over him. He could feel Sage's healing power rush over him, even though he himself was unconscious. Oh, how he loved that feeling. The sensation of a caring feeling, washed over with love and concern, and the calmness of the healer, all combined in one. And even though he loved the feeling, and never wanted it to stop, Sage needed to. Sage had over healed before, and it had left him unconscious for days. And Cye could tell by reaching out for the swordsman's aura that the blonde was using too much of his strength. Cye tried to shove away the extra energy, but it failed to work. Sage's presence was over-whelming. So Cye took the other resort, forcing himself to wake up.

"Sage, love, you have to stop." Sage's eyes bolted open, and he grabbed the British boy into his arms, and ended up falling onto Cye, to weak to support himself any longer. He wrapped one thin limb around Cye, and pulled his cheek to the shirt of his lover.

"Cye, don’t you ever do that to me again." Sage sobbed, but not as much in fear and anger, but in utter pleasure and happiness.

"I'm sorry love. I didn't mean to get caught." Cye then proceeded to cough his head off.

"Don't you worry. It was my fault. If only I could have called on my armor, then I could have saved you before you were even taken. I’m sorry, not you." Cye said nothing as he extended his hand to run through the locks of his lovers golden hair.

"How about it’s both are faults, and we call it even?" A faint smile crossed Sage's lips.

"Sounds good to me."

"Guys! Are you OK?" The two looked up and Saw Rowen running towards them. They nodded in Unison, as Rowen knelt beside them.

"Guys, somehow we have to get out of here." Rowen pointed out as Cye nodded in agreement.

"Rowen, could you use your life force bubble thingy and since air rises, it would rise us to the top?"

"We could try...." And that’s exactly what they did.

"CYE!!!!!!" Kento and Ryo yelled the moment their British friend came into view.

"Hello mates, its good to see you all too." Cye was helping support Sage on his side, and hug the two warriors at the same time.

"Ugh, group hugs. The horror." Sage muttered as Cye hit him faintly.

"Come on, since you’re lying on me, you get to join too." Sage sighed as he was dragged into a group hug between all the warriors.

"This is degrading. Were the Ronin Warriors, destined to save the world from complete annihilation, and were giving a group hug? Really makes you wonder." All four of the other Warriors hit him over the head at the exact same time.

"Well, it’s the truth!" The others laughed.

"Guys, lets go home." Cye said as the others nodded in agreement.

* * * * *

"Guys! Thank goodness you're OK!" Ryo looked up with wide eyes.

"MIA!!!!" He yelled as he ran up to hug her.

"Well, some ones a little eager to see me."

"Weren't you not due back for another three days?" Rowen pointed out as Mia laughed.

"When I got Ryo's letter about Sage taking care of the household, I decided I really needed to get home. And it was calling for a hurricane down in Florida, so I left instead of having to evacuate." The others nodded in understanding.

"Kento, why don't you help me take Sage and Cye upstairs?" Rowen asked as Kento looked at Ryo and Mia and grinned.

"Good idea. Come on brat, time to take you upstairs." Cye was about to protest when he and Sage were dragged off by Rowen and Kento. Ryo and Mia looked awkwardly at each other, until Ryo made an attempt to break the silence.

"Umm, did you have fun?" Mia smiled and nodded faintly.

"Ryo, is there something that you want to tell me?" Ryo's face grew bright red as he turned away.

"Um, I'm not really good with this kind of things." Mia grinned innocently.

"What kind of things?" Ryo's face flushed even further.

"Umm... MiaIreallylikeyouandIdon'tknowhowtotellyouandIhopeyouunderstandand..." Mia silenced Ryo's babbling with her lips.

"AWWWWW!!!!!" The two looked up to see the four other guys in the stairwell.

"Well, all's well that ends well I guess." Rowen stated as Ryo and Mia continued where they had left off.

"Well, we'll leave you two alone." Kento said as the four left the stairwell, to leave the two lovebirds to do as they pleased.

* * * * *

Sage and Cye sat in the bed together, Cye's head propped on Sage’s chest.

"Oh no Cye. With Mia and Ryo together, that means we're no longer the only couple!" Cye grinned.

"That may be true, but were still the cutest." His lips met Sage's as the blonde pulled away for a brief moment.

"Damn strait!" He muttered as Cye laughed and re-claimed sage's lips with his own.
