Our children, Our live Chapter 2 |
Friends: People who know you Chapter 2 - 6 years later
To say the least, life remained very uneventful for the boys, except for the testing the boys underwent everyday. Rowen learned to go higher and higher everyday, surviving the worst climates and winds imaginable. Cye was well on his way to being able to raise tidal waves with just his mind and powers. Ryo had learned that not only could he create large amounts of fire, he could also absorb it. Kento had grown stronger then though possible, and easily lifted a ton. Sage, well, Sage's powers could never truly be mastered due to the fact that his life energy was used unsparingly each time. But even with that in mind, he could easily heal large animals in the masses, and the scientists were looking forward to developing his powers to the extent of raising the dead. But unfortunately, Sage refused to go near the bodies of the dead, so they couldn't delve into that project till he grew older. And he and the others didn't plan on sticking around. Every night, they would talk, and plan on means of escape. They were 14, rebellious, and they wanted their lives back. Ryo and Sage in particular. They had grown closer then imaginable, their friendship growing as their hatred of the scientists grew. In fact, the true extension of their relationship was yet to be determined, but they had their fair share of flirting, particularly while in the presence of the scientists. The scientists, all of them with the possibility of Michelle, had shown hatred to the idea of two of the subjects being, intimate. Not that the two were, but why not use it as a tool to annoy the people that tortured them daily? Ryo laughed. Another day of teasing the scientists with the help of Sage. When they got out of here, and he was sure they would soon, it would be the one thing that he would miss. Not that he new what to do when they did get out. Unlike him, his friends had families, and people to go home to. He did not. "Will you two stop feeling each other up?" Ryo and Sage jerked to face Rowen. "You two are only 14, not like you need to be doing that." Rowen pointed out as Ryo grinned to Sage. "Who bet's we're turning him on?" Sage shook his head. "And waste the little money I have? I think not!" Sage replied with a grin. He quickly kissed Ryo as Rowen sighed. "And I try to stop you guys why?" He muttered something under his breath, the only tangible words being "Sluts" and "horny". Sage turned to Ryo and grinned. " He so wants to get some." Ryo laughed softly. The other two would be arriving soon, having gone to get food for dinner. "Well, I guess he's right. We're getting older. The scientists might separate us if they think we're getting too close. And I think both of us can say that we are, uh, dude, we are obsessed with each other." Sage laughed. "Not like we've got anything else to do. I mean, half the day we're getting tested on, the other we're alone in a secluded room. What did they expect? For us to whip out the Bible and start doing prayers? Not like god was here to stop them from taking us." "And why did he take my mother away? And then my father?" Rowen looked up from his book. "And my mother as well. But the lord has to do what he must. Creation and destruction are both needed for the life cycle to be complete. It is better then over population and starvation to plague all of his creations." Ryo glared at the other boy. "Then why not take the lives of the bad? Why take the noble and innocent away? Why not rid this world of ones that bring destruction instead of the ones who do no harm?" Rowen shrugged. "That is for the lord to decide, not us. And should he do that, then only the intelligent will survive. And then their wants and needs to gain more power would drive this world to destruction." Sage patted Ryo's back gently, rubbing circles. "Ryo, there is nothing that you or I or anyone could do. What happens happens. Whether by fate or coincidence, things happen that we cannot change. And that we shouldn't try to. Don't dwell on what happened before. Live in the now, not then." Sage kissed the other boys softly on the lips. "And I was kinda hoping that I could be the now." Rowen rolled his eyes and went back to his reading. When the door slowly opened. Rowen glanced up to have his eyes met Cye's. "They at it again?" Kento asked from alongside the British boy. Rowen nodded with a flick of his tongue, pointing out his annoyance. Cye and Kento grinned as they walked over to him. "Well, we got food. Will that cheer you up?" Rowen grinned. "Of course!" Rowen sat up and placed the bookmark in his book. He then took the platter from the Auburn boy, and set it on the bed. The three immediately started eating, as Ryo and Sage looked on from the twin bed they were sitting on. "Sage, we're sorry. We didn't get anything without meat." Sage sighed and pulled himself away from the warmth of the fire elemental beside him. He sat up and walked silently out of the door. "Guys, why did you purposely get Sage no food?" Ryo asked, slightly agitated. Cye turned to Kento and hung his head. "It wasn't my idea." He muttered as Ryo shrugged. "Never is. But why did you do it Kento?" "Because we are gonna warn 'ya. The scientists don't like your behavior. Sage's too. So they're going to separate you two, or, umm, teach you a lesson." "What kind of lesson? They aren't going to hurt Sage are they? Then why did you send him off alone?" Kento shook his head rapidly. "That isn't what they want from 'ya. They don't want to hurt him. Wouldn't be surprised if they did, but that's not what we heard in the kitchen." Ryo groaned. "Will you just tell me what's going on?" Kento took a deep breath. "They want 'ya man. The things you do with Sage is getting to them. So they want 'ya, for that reason. But a bit more if you catch my drift." Ryo's eyes widened. "They wouldn't. Well, anyways, even if they did want to, I'm not sticking around in this hellhole for them to act on it. And neither is Sage. And neither are you guys. 'Cause we aren't going to allow it. We're getting out, and soon. We've been trying to think of ways to get away. That's why we're always together. Sure we have the hots for each other, but it's also a means that the scientists won't pay attention to us, so we can talk in privacy. You know that they're everywhere." Cye nodded, but the others weren't so quick to understand. "Are you two actually..." Kento coughed. "Active in the world of sex?" Ryo laughed. "Hell no! We're not stupid!" Kento sighed in relief. "Well, that's good to know. Well, I say that we don't tell Sage about what the scientists want to do to 'ya man. For the safety of him not going on a rampage and killing us all. But you." "Umm.... Excuse me? Don't I have a say in what I know and don't know?" The group turned to see Sage in the doorway, leaning heavily on the entrance, a cheese sandwich in his grip. "Well, this is an interesting turn of events." He murmured, stealthily making his way over to Ryo. "I think they may have figured out our plans." He sat next to the black haired boy. "What do you mean Sage?" Sage shrugged. "I mean what I said. I think they may have figure it out." "Where did you get the idea?" "Well, if they hurt you, or, well, hurt me and do something much worse to you, it's a sign of dominance. They're trying to break our resistance to escape. The others don't pose a nearly as big threat, so they're trying to get you and me down so that none of us will try to escape. It makes sense, doesn't it?" The others nodded. "So I say that we let them try. What's the worst that could happen? As Ryo so clearly mentioned, we are not sticking around for them to back up their threat. And they can hit me, beat me, do anything to me, but that is not going to take the rebellion out of my system." Ryo raised his hand. "I agree. Do whatever you want to my body, but hell, touching my spirit is out of the question!" Sage laughed as he laid his head on Ryo's shoulder, still gnawing on the sandwich. "You two really are bent on getting us out, aren't you?" Ryo and Sage grinned as they nodded. "You've got that right. But you do realize that for us to pull of this escape, we'll need your powers and help too." With annoyed sighs, the others nodded. "Oh come on, you know you want to get out just as much as we do." Ryo stated as the other three finally nodded in defeat. "Boy, get over here!" Sage sighed, rolling his eyes as he pulled away from Ryo, leaving the remaining half of his partially eaten sandwich and tossing it into the waste bin. "Yes, ma'am?" He asked sourly as the woman rolled her eyes and grabbed his hair, dragging him out of the room. Rowen winced as he watched the anger play across Ryo's face. "Pisses you off, doesn't it?" Rowen stated as Ryo finally looked at the others. "One day I am going to kill that woman. After she's done with him he can't even stand, much less eat or anything. And we all know that out of all of us, his body's taking the biggest toll of all. She always comes during dinner to take him because he hate's dark and I think she wants him weaker. Proves just how strong he is, if he can heal and crap while weakened. And she doesn't let him come back until late, real late, after the three of you are asleep. I asked Mrs. Heather how long we were supposed to be kept for training. 3 hours, tops. He's gone, everyday, for about 6." The other three winced. Except for maybe Rowen, they never stayed awake long enough to see what time Sage came home. Now they knew. "How does she get away with it?" Cye asked as Ryo shrugged. "Out of all of us, his power is truly the most important. So, whoever it is that sent to have us brought here, must think it's ok because Sage's need to be the strongest of all of our powers." Rowen nodded. "Makes sense, power-hungry bastards. They use and abuse us all, but him more so then us." Kento nodded. "Rowen, you've got it the easiest." Rowen smiled. "I know, my powers are mastered basically. I'm in training for about an hour a day. Michelle doesn't want to see anything bad happen to me. Out of all of us, I really do have the life." Cye hung his head. "Mr. Aaron is a, a jerk! He is so rude!" Cye stated as the others laughed. "Cye, jerk is not a bad word." Ryo stated with a grin. "Yes it is!" Cye protested as Ryo grinned. "Silly Brits." He smiled as Cye glared at him. "Well, My girls annoying as hell, and she has a really high-pitched voice that could wake the dead, but other then that I guess she's not too bad..." Ryo laughed. "Do we really wanna know about mine? I mean, the bitch has had it out for me ever since I set her on fire when I was 7." "Ryo, language." Cye stated out of habit as Ryo brushed him off. "Hmmm..." Rowen muttered to himself as the others turned to him. "What are you "Hmmm-ing" about?" Ryo asked as Rowen looked up. "Oh, I was just wondering what Sage did to make this woman hate him so much. I Mean, it's not a good reason, but your lady has one, and Cye's does, because he gave the man hell the first time they met. Kento gave his the finger, but as far as I saw, Sage did nothing at all when Cye and I went in there on the first day." "Mew?" Glancing down, Rowen smiled, pulling the roly-poly cat onto his lap. The one that Sage had had them save that fateful day that they had all first arrived. Carefully he petted its fur, as it purred in delight. "That's a good question. I'll ask him tonight if he feels well enough to talk." Ryo smiled. "It's getting late, don't you boys normally sleep by now?" He stated as three heads turned to the clock. "Damn. It's already 1 in the morning? And Sage still isn't back?" Ryo nodded. "Won't be for another two hours or so." Cye gave him an appalled look. "How can she do that to him?" Cye asked as Ryo smiled wistfully. "Because she can, and he can't do anything about it without getting himself, or me hurt." "You?" "What would hurt Sage the most? I mean, emotionally and such? Obviously, hurting me, because we can all tell that one." Rowen nodded. "So, they blackmail him into behaving?" "Do you really think that he'd let anyone drag him out of the room by his hair out of his own obedience?" Ryo chuckled at the thought. "You people know nothing." He stated, ignoring Rowen's glare of annoyance. "This is Sage. We all know he is about his looks. Would he really let anyone hurt his looks?" "Well, all this abuse is doing a number on him. He was so vibrant looking as a child. Now he's pale, and his hair is thinning from how much she pulls out when she grabs him.' Ryo nodded. "He's still hot, just not as vibrant. And it's not as if he's dead skinny. I mean he is, but he's fit enough. He's not stupid. And they aren't either. He does healing practice for 6 hours. He does sword training and hand-to-hand combat in the mornings. What good is having a healer that can't defend himself from being killed?" The others nodded. In all truth, that seemed to be a wise decision on the scientist's part. "So, he could beat them up if he wanted?" Ryo nodded. "Doesn't though. If he tries anything, they'll drug him up. And he hates drugs because he can't take not being in control of his own body. It's a quirk of his. He must be in control of himself, at all costs." The others nodded. Seemed like a Sage thing. "Well, I think that we should get to sleep." Cye stated as the other two boys nodded. It was a thing that the three did since they were children. They pushed two beds together, and all three slept in a pile of sleepy boys and sprawled limbs. Sage and Ryo shared a bed as well, but they didn't put theirs together. They simply slept extremely close. Ryo watched in mild interest, as the other three boys got ready for bed, brushing their teeth and such. He watched as they pulled on their nightclothes, Cye's a pair of ever present cotton ones, covered with dolphins in replacement of the whales he had worn as a child. Ryo rolled his eyed, but said nothing to the British boy. "Night guys." He stated as they nodded, all curling up on the bed as Ryo turned off the light to let them sleep. * * * * * "You will behave or I will bring in that Sanada boy and use HIM to make you behave." With a rebellious glare, he nodded. "What do you want me to do this time?" Sage asked as the older woman smiled sweetly. "We're going to see if you can raise the dead." Sage looked on horror as the woman presented a dead squirrel. Sage gasped, covering his mouth. He hated dead things. Dead animals. Gods, he wouldn't touch it. He glanced at her in repulsion as he bolted from the room. "Get him back here!" She screamed out as she slammed her hands down on a small red button on the wall, setting off the alarm throughout the building. Sage shook his head as he ran. He would not touch anything that had had its life stripped from it because of him. No creature great or small deserved that. He ran back to their room, ignoring the sirens. They were getting out of this place, and they were getting out of it now. He tried to open the door, noting that it was forcefully locked to prevent escape. He was not leaving without Ryo, without the others. He slammed his foot on the handle, watching it crack as his foot snapped beneath him. Crying out in pain, he shoved open the door, panting. "We're leaving...." He stated as Ryo leapt to his feet, running over to Sage. "Are you alright?" He asked in concern as he looked as Sage's foot. "I'm fine. Come on and change quickly. We're getting out of here, and now." Ryo nodded, waiting for the others to change. "Come on guys. Sage's hurt, even though he's too stupid to admit it." Cye quickly pulled on his shoes as he ran over to Sage. "Are you alright?" "Shut up and hurry up!" Sage cried out, leaning on Ryo. Quickly Rowen and Kento changed. Kento ran over, swooping Sage into his arms. "Hey!" "You're only going to slow us down." Ryo stated as Sage sighed. "Fine, but I'm not enjoying this!" He stated as Ryo shrugged. "Right now, we don't care. We have to get to the door." He cursed. When he and Sage had thought this through, Sage did not have a broken foot. They ran, until it was a bunch of guards they were running towards. "Cye!" "On it!" Reaching out his hand, a Tsunami crashed down on the men, as a ring of fire imprisoned them. Quickly Rowen wrapped them all in his life bubble, as he lifted them over the guards. "Losers!" He cried out with a laugh, as they took to the ground, running again. "Guys, to Rowen's area!" Ryo cried out as Rowen turned down the hallways that lead to his training area. Bursting out into the open, Ryo turned to Rowen. "You need to lift us over the wall." "No prob." He stated as he concentrated, lifting them all into the air, going higher and higher until the end of the walls came into view. Quickly he led them over it, landing on the ground. "Guys, over to the ocean!" Ryo exclaimed as the others looked at him in confusion, but did it anyways. Reaching the water, they turned to Ryo. "Rowen, bubble, Cye, water." Sage stated as the heads turned to him. "This was your plan?" "Just do it!" Sage cried out, as Rowen created the bubble around them, placing them on the water. Cye quickly pushed them forward in the water, creating waves to push them on. "Dude, what about boats?" Kento asked as Ryo grinned. "My favorite part." Using his mind, every boat in the dock caught fire, as a wall of flames appeared along the beach. "No worry there!" He stated with a laughed as he turned to Sage. "You alright love?" Kento set the boy down gently as Sage nodded. "Didn't think that doing that would break my foot." He stated with a faint smile, pulling his foot to him with a groan of pain. "We have to take you to the hospital." Cye stated as Sage shook his head. "They'll be using and method possible to trace us, and they know I'm hurt. They'll check the hospital first." "Well, do you really think that Rowen and I can take up across the ocean all the way back to our homes?" Sage shook his head. "We need Rowen and you to take us back to land, just not anywhere near the lab." Rowen nodded as he shifted them, working with Cye to turn them towards land. In about 20 minutes, the five tired and hurt boys landed on the shore of the beach. Grabbing Sage again, Kento and the other boys ran towards the city. "We have to find a store or something to hide in." "And we need some clothes." "And food!" Kento added, his stomach growling. Sage sighed. "First we need to find somewhere to rest. No store is open at this time of day." They glance over to a large building. "Wal-Mart?" Sage asked in confusion, noting that it was still open. "What kind of store would be open at this time of day?" The others shrugged. "Let's hide there. We can hide in there and get some rest. Seems big enough that they might not notice us." Rowen stated as the others nodded. Running over to the building, they all ran in, panting. "Excuse me sirs, are you alright?" Cye looked at Rowen, who looked at Ryo, who looked at Kento, who looked at Sage, who finally spoke. "We are fine ma'am." He stated as Kento set him down and he bowed. She gave him an odd look, but said nothing. "Umm, sir, you really should get that foot checked out and stuff." She stated as Sage looked down at his foot. "Hmm... Maybe I should." He shrugged. "I shall get it done later." Wrapping an arm around Kento, and the other around Ryo, he used the two boys as crutches. The woman shrugged. "I've seen weirder." She muttered as she went back to work. Sage sighed as the boys helped him around the store. Not being able to walk on your own sucked. Finally, they found the linen as Rowen groaned. "We should have gone to a furniture store." He muttered as Sage sighed. "Make due." Pulling away from Ryo and Kento, he hopped on one foot over to the bottom shelf, laying himself across the pillows. Ryo laughed as Sage closed his eyes. "It feels fine to me." He shrugged as he turned away from the others. "Night." He stated, leaving them to fend for their own. Ryo grinned. "I'm sleeping on the pillows with Sage!" carefully he crawled on the shelf with Sage, who wrapped one arm around Ryo unconsciously. Ryo grinned, kissing his forehead. "Well, we've been ditched." Rowen stated as Cye sighed. "Well, I think there was a cage of these stuffed things. We can all sleep in that." Kento stated as the other boy's nodded. "Let's go." Cye stated as the other boys followed him. * * * * * "And stay out you bum children!" Cye winced. The manager of Wal-Mart yelled loudly. "Whoa, we got kicked out of Wal-Mart." Rowen stated as Sage shrugged. "Doesn't really matter. So, who's up for some food?" Ryo asked as Sage rolled his eyes. "We don't have any money Ryo." Ryo grinned. "And this is where it paid off that I was an orphan." Ryo grinned. "Sage, gonna need your help." Sage glanced up in confusion. "Why?" "You'll see love, you'll see." * * * * * Sage screamed out in pain as he ran into a man's vender. "My leg!" He cried out, tears falling from his face. The man gasped in horror as he ran out from behind the vender, kneeling next to the sobbing boy. "Someone call the medics!" He called out as he pulled the blonde to his chest. "It's Ok kid. We're going to take you to the hospital, and then contact your parents, and get you home, and your going to be all better." Sage continued crying into the man's shoulder, trying to hold back his grin as he watched Ryo meticulously go through all the fruits, grabbing the best ones while the man's back was turned. It was then the team of medics ran over, taking Sage's body in their arms, and placing him on a stretcher. He continued sobbing, as Ryo took the food and ran into the alley where Cye and Kento waited for him. Rowen was watching from the aerial view, making sure that they could trace Sage to the hospital he was being taken to. Two birds with one stone. Ryo was a genius at times. Sage would have his foot set, and they would be fed, and no money would be paid. Granted that they got Sage out of the hospital quickly. And that was Rowen's job. From high in the sky, he followed the ambulance, and waited a bit, hoping that they had set Sage's foot as he quickly made his way into the waiting room. "Ma'am, my little brother, he broke his leg you see. And we don't have any parents, and I really need to see him, so could you, um, tell me his room number and such. "Honey, I'm so sorry to hear about your parents. Well, your brother is in room 128 in the north wing of the hospital. But you can't see him yet because he's having his foot set right now. So if you could kindly wait in the waiting roo..." She glanced around, noting that the boy was already gone. "Hmm... That's interesting." She shrugged as Rowen ran outside. He had to find Sage's room. Dashing alongside the wall, he finally heard the soft sobbing of Sage. He smiled; Sage was trying to make sure he could hear him. Carefully he levitated, to peek in the room. With a sigh of relief, he noted that Sage was alone. Slowly he opened the window, crawling in. "Come on Sage, we have to get you out of here." Sage nodded as he rose to his feet, grabbing the crutches they had given him. "Come on." Sage nodded, as Rowen crawled out of the window, Sage following and falling into Rowen's arms. "Sorry..." He muttered as Rowen grinned. "Come on." Rowen formed the air bubble around them, lifting them high into the sky. "Ryo got the food. Great job by the way." Sage smiled. "I know. I love acting. It's so fun to watch everyone get mad when they realize that all it was was an act." Rowen nodded as he landed them on the ground, right in front of the other boys. "Sage, that was awesome!" Ryo stated as Sage smiled, sitting down next to his lover. "Dude, what I would have given to have you with me when I was begging on the street and stealing because the orphanage barely fed us anything at all." Sage smiled once more, taking an apple into his hand and biting into it, his head resting on Ryo's shoulder, crutches at his side. Cye and Kento smiled as well. "Sage, that was great. I could never have lied to him like that." "It wasn't lying. It was simply acting Cye." Cye shrugged, still eating his pear. Rowen grinned, grabbing an orange and pealing it, before shoving a slice into his mouth. Ryo smiled, a bunch of grapes in his hand. What he would have given to have Sage on top of him feeding them to him, one by one. He was a teenager; he was allowed to be hormonal. "Guys, I hate to say this, but we better be going." Rowen stated. "We have to get to the airport." "Airport?" Everyone but Sage turned to Ryo. "Yeah, we have to sneak on the next plane to Japan. Sage, think you can get us in again?" Sage shrugged. "I can try. I'll try to think of an idea." The others nodded as they rose to their feet. "Rowen?" The boy nodded as he lifted them all off the ground again. "There's the airport!" Cye exclaimed after 5 minutes of flying. Rowen smiled, bringing them to the ground at the parking lot, ignoring the gaping people. "Sage, think baby, think!" Ryo exclaimed as Sage sighed. He did not like being called baby, even if it was by his boyfriend. "Just follow me." Sage stated as he bent down to get his crutches. Stupid hormones, he thought to himself as he watched Sage. "Ok, first, we find the next flight." He stated as they ran through the terminals. "Ok, the boards that tell the flight times." He quickly scanned over the information. "Crap! We have five minutes to get to the other side!" He cried out as the others gasped. Quickly, they all ran down the halls, till they reached the boarding area of the plane. "Last call for flight 456, Japan." Sage quickly ran up to the boarding lady, tears in his eyes, panting, on crutches, looking as horrible and mussed as he could muster. "Ma'am! Please, you have to let me and my friends on this plane! Out... our tour group is on it and if we don't get on it then we won't have anywhere to stay because we don't have a key and all of our families are on the plane, and if you don't...." He broke into tears, sobbing on the woman. She looked at him awkwardly, then at the other boys. "Fine, you can go on. Just find some seats." Sage quickly hugged the woman. "Oh thank you thank you thank you ma'am!" Quickly he kissed her check as he ran onto the plane, along with the other four boys. "Sage, you should make a career in acting. Man, you can get anything you want out of anyone! The pope would bow to you if you tried!" Sage smiled, wiping away the fake tears. "Guys, find seats, fast." They nodded, each splitting up to fill up any available seats. Sage watched as the flight attendant walked up to the front, demonstrating how to put on a seatbelt, what to do in case of an emergency, ect. Sage put on his seatbelt, sat back, and watched them take off. * * * * * "Sage, did I ever tell you that I love you?" Kento stated, hugging the blonde the moment they were off the plane. Sage shrugged. "Don't get excited. We aren't home yet guys." Groans emitted from the others as Sage shrugged. "Get over it. We'll be home soon enough." Sage scolded as they headed to the exit of the airport. They cheered as they left the building. "Hello Tokyo!" Ryo cried out as the others laughed. It was then that Ryo froze. "Ryo, you can live with us." Sage stated with a soft smile, as Ryo grinned. He hated the fact that Sage could do that, but he would be more then happy to stay with Sage. To meet Sage's evil older sister and sweet younger one. "Thanks love, but would your parents allow it?" He smiled. "Don't you worry. They'll be so happy I'm back; they'll be thrilled to have you too. And if not, I'll make due. This is me. The boy who can get anything out of anyone, remember?" Ryo smiled, nodded to the blonde. "Guys, we don't have any money." Cye pointed out as Sage smiled. "I have a little yen left from when we were here. It'll buy 1 ticket. If you play your cards right, two of your can use the same card." Cye smiled. "Kento and I live real close! We can share the ticket." The three boys nodded as Sage handed them the little yen that he had kept since they had been taken. "Rowen, where do you live?" Sage asked as Rowen blushed. "I'll get home on my own. I guess I have to say goodbye to you guys." Rowen went around, hugging them all, pausing in front of Ryo. "Now you behave and don't push Sage, got it?" Ryo grinned as he hugged Rowen. "I'll miss you bud." Rowen nodded. "Same. Bye guys." They watched as Rowen walked away, glancing around to make sure no one was around when he took to the sky. "Kento, Cye, you better hurry home. Your mothers must be worried." Cye smiled at them both. "And my sister. Now, you two take care of each other, got it? And Sage, go easy on that leg of yours." Cye stated, trying to wipe the tears that were forming in the corners of his eyes away. They had started when Rowen left, and now they were falling full force. "Come on Cye, don't cry. We'll see you again sometime, I'm sure of it." Ryo stated with a smile, as Sage nodded in agreement. "Well, bye guys." Kento stated, hugging them all as he took Cye's hand. "Come on, we have to leave." Cye nodded, waving one last goodbye as he was dragged off by Kento. "Well Ryo, you and I are the only ones left. Let's go home." Ryo smiled as the two began walking towards Sage's house. * * * * * "Mum?" Cye asked as he walked into the house and came face to face with a woman that was almost unrecognizable. "Mum?" He asked again, his eyes watering as he ran to her, pulling her into his arms. "I've missed you so much." He sobbed, as tears streamed down the speechless woman's face. "Hey mom, what's wro..." Cye glanced up with wide eyes. Letting his mother go, he ran over to the other woman. "Cye, is that you?" She asked as he nodded, head buried in her shoulder. "Those two idiots did it. They actually got us home." Cye muttered as he sobbed. "Where the hell have you been all these years?" His sister demanded, arms still around him. "They took me... and four other boys. And they tested on us because we have powers, and Sage and Ryo they actually got us home. I'm actually home." Cye felt someone hug him from behind and realized that he was buried between his mother and his sister. "I'm home, I'm really home." Slowly a man peered into the room, with a look of confusion on his face. "Umm... honey, who is this?" The girl peered up and smiled." "This is the brother. He's home, he's actually home." Cye glanced up. "And who is he sister?" Cye asked as she smiled. "Cye, this is my fiancé." * * * * * Kento was literally squished, as he struggled to breath between the 6 bodies hugging him. "Can't.... breath..." He muttered as the group let him go, and all began speaking at the same time. "When did you....?" "Why did you...?" "How did you....?" "Who did it?" "What happened to you?" "Calm down!" Kento cried out with a laugh as everyone stopped speaking. "It's a long story, but cuz of my strength, a bunch of American scientists took me, and four other boys, to be tested on and crap, so that they could improve our skills. Well, they had wanted to use our powers in wars and stuff, so they tried to see if it was a mutated gene, but it wasn't. So they realized that we were the only ones like this, so they improved us. Finally, two of the other boys, Sage and Ryo, broke us out. It was so cool! I mean, we got to set ships of fire, fly in the air, trick a bazillion people, sleep in a store, steal from a vender, and all that cool stuff! And best of all, I'm home." "Brother, what powers do they have?" His second oldest sibling asked, as he smiled. "Well, it was cool. Rowen could fly, Ryo could make fire, Cye could manipulate water, and Sage could heal. It was pretty damn cool." "Kento!" His mother exclaimed as he blushed. "Sorry, been hanging around Ryo waaaaaay too long." Kento's stomach growled as he blushed. His mother beamed. "Food for all!" She stated as she walked into the kitchen, all five children behind her. * * * * * "Father?" Rowen asked in slight fear as he walked into the house, the door left unlocked. He sighed as he noticed the passed out body on the floor. Typical, spend all day at the lab, all night drinking, and leave the rest of the time for your son to take care of you. Rowen silently walked over to the body as he lifted the grown man into his arms, and flew over to the bed, setting the man down. With a sigh, he walked over to his old room, and climbed into bed. He'd show himself to his father in the morning. * * * * * Carefully the two boys walked over to the entrance of the house, Ryo watching Sage to make sure that nothing happened to him, or he slipped up on his crutches. Carefully Ryo knocked on the door, receiving a glare from Sage. "It's my house. I really don't think that I need to knock." "Man, they aren't going to recognize you, and they all know martial arts. Yeah, let's walk into their house!" Ryo stated sarcastically as Sage sighed. Carefully the door opened, and two women appeared in the door. Sage smiled. Yayoi and one of her friends. His sister smiled at them. "And what might you highly attractive boy's be doing at my doorstep?" She asked as she stepped closer to Sage, batting her eyelashes. "Yayoi, don't. That would be incest." He stated as she gasped. "Sage?" Promptly she fainted into the arms of her friend. To be continued......
