Rowen shrugged. "Something to do...?" Rowen asked. "Hai, s’pose your right..." Ryo said. Rowen started up the Jeep put it in gear and drove away. Sage sighed looking out the window. Ryo turned around and looked at Sage. "Sage?" Ryo asked. Sage turned to Ryo. "Yeah?" Sage asked. "Hey, buddy, what’s wrong?" Ryo asked and climbed in the back and sat next to Sage. "That dream... it felt so real..." Sage whispered and looked out the window again. "What was it about?" Ryo asked. "Uhh... well..." Sage turned back to Ryo, "I-- Ro look out!!" Sage shouted. Rowen slammed on the breaks also seeing the figure standing in the middle of the road. "Aww @#$%!!!" Rowen shouted holding his head. "Ro?" Sage asked. "banged my head on the steering wheel.." Rowen said through clenched teeth. Ryo looked out the windshield. "Who is that?" Ryo asked. Ryo lifted the passenger seat forward and got out. "Hey, lady are you alright??" Ryo asked and jogged over to her. She smiled. *** "Oi!! Kento!! Turn off that stupid game and clean up!!" Cye shouted. "But I’m on the 7th level!!" Kento whined. "So what, pause it and come clean your room... or your side of the room.." Cye said. Kento snorted. "Why don’t you do it...?" Kento grumbled. Kento paused the game walked upstairs. "Now..." Cye said and gave Kento the broom and dust pan and a few garbage bags. "Have fun Kento.." Cye said and beamed. Kento groaned. Cye left the room and walked down stairs. Kento grumbled and swept up the large mess on the floor, got the mop and started mopping. Kento heard someone enter the room. "Yes Cye, I’m cleaning, you don’t have to check up on me..." Kento said. No one said anything. "Cye??" Kento asked and turned around. It wasn’t Cye. Before Kento had a chance to ask who the heck he was or what he was doing here, Kento was struck on the head. Kento then fell to the floor in a heap. *** Cye, Mia and Whiteblaze heard a thump from upstairs. "Nani? now what’s Kento doing??" Cye asked. "Better go check on him Cye.." Mia said and smiled. Cye nodded and walked upstairs. "Oi! Kento, what the heck are you doing??" Cye asked and opened up the door. Kento was laying on the floor. "C’mon Kento.. cleaning can’t be THAT hard..." Cye said and walked over to Kento. "Kento??" Cye asked. Cye turned Kento on his back, blood ran down Kento’s face. Cye gasped. "Kento!?" Cye asked. Cye suddenly felt a hand go around his mouth. Cye screamed. Cye’s arms were pulled behind his back roughly and tied. Cye was then thrown to the floor. "What?" Cye asked. The man grinned down at him. "Yes, your perfect." The man said. Cye’s eyes widened. "No!! Mia!! Get out of here quick!!!!" Cye shouted. The man’s hand clamped over Cye’s mouth again. Then was lifted up and slammed against the door, Cye grunted and his head was tilted to the side. *No! This can’t be happening!!* Cye thought. Cye shut his eyes tight then the man bit down on Cye’s neck. Cye’s eyes snapped open. *no..* Cye thought. Cye’s eye’s then lost all life to them. The man let go of Cye and Cye fell to the floor like a rag doll. The man laughed. "Now, just so you know boy, my name is Akudou..." the man said and disappeared. *Akudou....* Cye thought. *I won’t let you get away... with....this* *** "Ne? Lady?" Ryo asked. She smiled at him and turned to him. She lashed out and grabbed Ryo by the throat. "aaagh!!" Ryo cried, "What the heck are you doing?!" Ryo asked his eyes filled with terror and fear. "Nothing much Ryo, just going to drink your pure blood. About it." She snarled throwing Ryo to the ground. Ryo grunted and looked up at her. "Sage!! Row--" Ryo was cut off when her mouth clamped on his. "mmmph!!!" Ryo’s eyes widened. "Ryo!!" Sage called out. Sage watched the girl grab Ryo she bared her fangs. "NOO!!" Sage shouted and jumped out of the car and stopped in front of the jeep. "C’mon Sage, save your friend, he’s paralyzed... Here..." She held him out. Ryo hung lifelessly in her grasp, his eyes were still open but they were glazed, his eyes were stuck in a dead stare. "Ryo..." Sage whispered. He reached out for Ryo. "Sage dear... come on, you want to save your friend don’t you?" She asked. Sage nodded, eyes fixed on Ryo’s. "come and get him then..." she said and pulled Ryo close to her. "Or I bite him...." she whispered licking Ryo’s throat. Sage felt sick to his stomach. His nightmare was happening... but happening to Ryo... and Sage had front row seats. Sage looked away sharply. "...sage...." Ryo’s voice sounded raspy and quiet. She grinned evilly. She pulled Ryo’s head back by his hair. Sage heard Ryo’s pained gasp. Sage looked up. She dug deep down into his flesh. He let out a strangled cry of pain. "Ryo!! no!!" Sage cried. Sage seen the blood and immediately fell to his knees holding his chest. Rowen tried to get out of the car but everything shut and locked suddenly. "Sage!! Ryo!!" Rowen called and banged on the window. Sage leaned forward and threw-up. Tears formed in Sage’s eyes as he heard more of Ryo’s strangled cried of pain. *no... this can’t happen! no!* Sage thought rocking himself back and forth. Rowen banged on the windows trying his best to get Sage’s attention. "SAGE!!!!!" Rowen shouted. The woman smiled drinking from Ryo and watched Sage’s pain from where she stood. She pulled Ryo away from herself. "Oh Sage?" She called over to him. Sage was afraid to look up. "Here’s your friend back..." She said and threw Ryo towards Sage and landed 5 feet toward him. Sage looked up and seen Ryo’s lifeless eyes starring back at him. Sage began to sob. "Now... Rowen’s turn. Sage’s head shot up. "No!! I won’t let you hurt Rowen like you did Ryo!!" Sage cried getting to his feet. She smiled. "How will you stop me Sage??" She asked and pointed at Ryo. She had her hand palm up then she slowly lifted it up. As she did, Ryo rose from the ground. Sage gasped and backed into the Jeep’s front bumper. She slowly made a fist and Ryo cried out holding his chest. *god... he’s still alive...* Sage thought and felt as if he was going to throw up again. As Ryo cried out blood slowly leaked from the holes in his throat. "No.. no stop... yo-you’re hurting him... stop!!" Sage shouted and ran over to Ryo quickly he wrapped his arms around Ryo tight. "Stop it!! leave him alone!!" Sage shouted. She rose an eyebrow at him. "And why would I do that??" She asked balling her fist tighter making Ryo cry out again. Sage winced and glared at her, he let Ryo go and quickly grabbed a stick about 4 feet in length, from the side of the road and ripped all the smaller branches off of it and advanced toward her. "Your gonna beat me with a stick... is that it?" She asked. Sage nodded holding the stick at his side with an insane look in his one lavender eye. He gripped it tight and rushed at her hitting her hard in the shoulder. She yelped an reeled back. "HOW DARE YOU!!!" She shouted and tried to scratch him, Sage jumped back out of the way. "Bring it on, witch." Sage said and smirked. She growled and threw a punch Sage blocked and punched her in the face. She screamed and reeled backwards. "Think before you try and attack again..." Sage said. She snarled and pulled a dagger from her belt and jumped at Sage. He didn’t know she had a dagger He got in a stance waiting for her strike, as he tried to block she cut him, deep. Sage cried out stumbling backwards holding the bleeding wound. She grinned and jumped at him again Sage tried to block but she ducked down and lodged the dagger deep within Sage’s gut. Sage gasped and slowly stepped back. the woman stepped back to admire her work. Sage grabbed the blood-soaked dagger within his gut and pulled it out gently. He gasped and fell to his knees and grasped the wound tightly. "I-i won’t die easily!!" Sage said and got to his feet. She looked surprised. Sage lunged at her and got her in the eye with her own dagger stained with his blood. She screamed as blood spill ed out of her eye Sage held the dagger tight and twisted it then pulled it out. The Vampire lay on the ground screaming holding her empty eye socket. "I’LL GET YOU FOR THIS SAGE!!!" She screamed as she vanished. Sage gasped and held the wound in his stomach. He slowly stumbled back to the jeep. Ryo lay on the pavement in a pool of his own blood. Sage cringed and knelt down and took Ryo in his arms and walked back to the jeep Rowen looked at him and tried to opened the door, but it was locked yet. Suddenly the car started up. Rowen jumped and looked at the steering wheel. Then writing appeared on the window shield written in blood. This is how I’ll repay you Sage... killing your best friend.... "No! Rowen!! Get out of there!!" Sage cried setting Ryo down and pounded on the window trying desperately to break it. Then the Jeep took off. Rowen jumped in the back seat quickly and got down between where the people in the backseat put their feet. "god please, please don’t let me die, not yet..." Rowen whispered, then the jeep ran head on into a tree. "Rowen!!!!" Sage cried, "No Rowen!!!!!" Sage ran over to the crashed jeep and opened the door, but the door fell off. "Rowen!!" Sage screamed franticly, "Rowen answer me!! Please!!" Sage begged.
