Ryo stared blankly at the floor, head cocked sideways where it had fallen when Tekkana stole his kanji from him inside him somehow, and sent him into a sleep-like state that’s slowly stopping his heart. As Rowen said, Ryo only has a few days to live, unless they get there, and fast. **** "Wh-what happened? I-- it hurts... What did that Tekkana so to me? I feel so weak... cold... and weak. aagh..." Ryo gripped his chest in pain. "It hurts so much... Wha- how did she do it... i seen the light... a bright red light... a crystal... and then everything went black...." A sudden light made Ryo shield his eyes. "What’s going on now?" "Wildfire... it’s been a long time." "Anubis??" "Yes. I’ve come with good news and some bad news... what do you want to hear first?" "Good news." "Well your friends are coming soon," "And the bad news... i’m afraid to ask." "I don’t think they’re going to make it here on time..." "What? What do you mean?" Ryo asked frowning " Ryo... you’re dying... as we speak... I don’t know how just yet... but it’s eating you alive..." Ryo frowned again. "S-so I’m dying... well... that’s not something you hear every day..." "Ryo I am sorry I-- I wish there was more I can do." "But there isn’t is there." Ryo interrupted. "So I’m going to have to die with no family or friends here to see me BEFORE I’m dead? is that it? Go away Anubis... You gave me what I needed to know... now go..." Ryo said. Anubis nodded and disappeared into the shadows. "Will they need me!?" Ryo shouted after Anubis. "What do you mean?" Anubis asked. "Will they need me, will the guys need me to help them fight." "Fight who?" Anubis asked completely baffled. "Against Tekkana and Tarl..." "I still don’t understand... Who are these Tekkana and Tarl people anyway?" Anubis asked. "If you don’t know who they are... we’re in real trouble..." Ryo said holding his face in his hands. "This is bad.... very, very bad..." ~~At Mia’s~~ Everyone was in the dinning room Rowen, Sage, Mia and Cye were talking about how to get to Ryo and how to save him. Kento sat there, listening trying to understand, nodding every once and a while. Kento didn’t get why they were sitting here talking about it like Tuesday’s Paper when they should be getting in gear. "Hey guys, why don’t we get there, and talk about it when we’re there then we know what needs to be done..." Kento suggested, interrupting their conversation. "And How do you bring about we get there, Kento?" Sage asked. Kento shrugged. "I donno, you tell me, your the one who’s supposed to be the smart one along side Rowen." Kento said crossing his arms. "Shut up Kento." Sage said. "Are you mad ‘cause I made a point?" Kento asked in a cheeky tone. "Enough, both of you." Cye said. "Yeah, you two are acting like a couple of 3-year-olds." Mia said, hands on her hips. "Well, how was his armor stolen from him through his body?" Cye asked, changing the subject. "I-- don’t.. know actually.." Sage said and looked to Rowen for answers. "Okay... Whoever did this to Ryo took it from the center of his heart, and his soul and made into a whole ball, like our kanji balls. But it was taken from Ryo, so Ryo could be gone now, but we all have a link so we know he’s okay. He’s hanging on by threads. say there are 5 left. Ryo has 5 hours to live, 5 hours for us to get there and 5 hours to save him. Say it started off at 100, but that jerk of power from Ryo’s heart knocked 52 or so off of Ryo’s lifeline of threads... Ryo is now left with 48... 2 days. That’s not very long so if we don’t hurry up and figure out a plan to save him... Or Ryo’s gone before we get there." Rowen said pounding his fist into the table, startling everyone. Mia sighed and put her hand over Rowen’s. "I know it’s hard, Rowen... but knowing Ryo.. he’d come back, nothing could keep him away." Mia said reassuringly. Rowen nodded solemnly... but stopped mid-nod. "’Cept his family...." Rowen said with an emotionless expression on his face. "What?!" Every cried in unison.
