Gone Away by Shadow Fax Prologue ______________________________________________________________________________
It was a dark night. Stormy, yet a quiet night. A young black haired young man sat at a desk in a slightly bare room only accompanied by boxes upon boxes, some saying ‘Junk’ others ‘Clothes’ and more. One in particularly had ‘Ryo’s Stuff.’ on it with two little red hearts by it. The boy glanced at it and sighed. He returned back to what he was writing on. A letter. The letter read: Hi guys! How is everyone hmm? Well the house is... nice. I’ll send you pictures as soon as my stuff is set up. I miss you all already. Whiteblaze misses you too. I-- that was furiously marked out breaking the lead of the pencil Well, it’s a nice neighborhood, so far any ways... Only problem there is I haven’t talked to anyone yet. Heh... The house is bare... I’m gonna put up some of our pictures then it’ll help me get over my home sickness. If you ever get the chance... you should call me... 444-7243 (your name Sage! hehe I picked it out. -little smiley face- ) Well I’ll write you more tomorrow... Good Bye! Love, Ryo` Some drops of water landed on the paper. Ryo frowned and folded up the paper and stuck in an envelope and licked it and sealed it shut. Ryo wrote his return address in the left corner of the envelope and wrote in the center to whom it went to. "I hope you write back..." Ryo whispered and put a stamp in the right corner and wiped the tears from his face and eyes. ~~~~~~~ "What time is in California right now?" Kento asked for the seventh time in 15 minuets. Mia looked at the clock. "Around 6:00pm. Ryo might be up... but we don’t know his number, Kento. We’ll have to wait for Ryo to write us." Mia said. Kento whined. "I miss him and Whiteblaze. Will he come back, do ya know?" Kento asked. "He might." Mia said. Cye sighed. "Don’t worry so much Kento... Ryo will come back I know it..." Cye said and beamed happily. "I hope so." Kento said looking at the floor. ***** Ryo woke up from his twisted up position on the floor next to Whiteblaze. Ryo groaned and sat up making his back pop. "ow...." Ryo yawned and stretched and wiped the sleep from his eyes. Blaze purred in his deep slumber. "Well, s’pose I’ll get to unpacking now..." Ryo said and got up. Ryo walked up stairs and looked in all the rooms. The last two rooms reminded his of Sage and Cye. The one that reminded him of Sage had green wallpaper and one single little lightning bolt where the bed must’ve been. The one that reminded him of Cye was painted aqua blue and a couple shades darker below a dark blue line that went all around the room. and had little bubbles and some gold, orange and yellow fish on the doors of the closet. Ryo smiled and walked into the room and shut the door on the door was a blue fish. Ryo pulled out a pen and wrote by it ‘Cye’ for the fun of it. Ryo exited the room and looked around. Ryo looked into the bathroom, again, sea life. Cye’d love this. I’ll just leave it the way it is... Ryo thought walking out of the room and looked at the last bedroom. Ryo choose that one. Simple. Like his room at Mia’s. Ryo smiled and looked around there was a window seat. Looked cute. Ryo walked over to the closet and looked inside. Inside there lat a stuffed white tiger toy, a lying down one, with one blue eye and face a-pout and some stuffing hanging out of it’s shoulder. "Nothing I, the mighty Warrior of Fire, can’t fix!" Ryo said in a Super Man voice, hands on his hips in a pose, Ryo laughed at himself and picked up the stuffed animal. He seen it’s other eye where the bed should’ve been and picked up. Ryo hurried down the stairs and looked though all the boxes for the needles and thread Mia had givin’ him if he had ever gotten bored. Or wanted to sew his shirt to together or something... whatever... he was just glad he had it. He pulled out the little kit in a red box with ‘Ryo’ put on there with Red Glitter and Silver Glitter outlining the Red Glitter, little designs on there by the other guys, red fish from Cye, golden arrow from Rowen, a green lightning bolt from Sage, a cute little canyon picture from Kento he took himself and several pink, red and white hearts from Mia. Ryo smiled at it and set in on the single desk and started to sew the eye back on the tiger with black thread. In time the eye was done and he put the stuffing bac k in and sewed it back up with white thread. "Another Whiteblaze." Ryo said and grinned. Whiteblaze looked up at the sound of his name. "Look Blaze." Ryo said and showed Blaze the stuffed animal. Blaze purred and laid his head back down. Ryo smiled at it. "Hmmm.... what to do now." Ryo said. Ryo grabbed the letter from the desk and hurried outside as he heard the postman coming slowly down the street. Ryo Ran outside and stuck the letter in the mail box and put up the little red lever. Ryo walked back inside. <---> In the house directly across from Ryo’s watched the cute black haired boy run outside. "I knew he would come. Tarl... dear, your cousin Talpa was right. Wildfire is here. And extremely venerable." blue glowing eyes met glowing mint green eyes. "Good, will attack at dusk, Tekkana." Tarl said. A low growl was heard. "Yes Nikan, you can come." A giant Silver-looking lion with gray-green eyes, shimmered in the darkness. Tarl and Tekkana laughed as they watch the boy walk inside the house and shut the door. End Prologue~
